The short version. Snipe.Run is non-custodial — we never hold your keys or funds. We collect the minimum needed to operate the Service: your public wallet address, the settings you configure, and basic usage and device data. Blockchain activity is inherently public. We do not sell your personal data.

01 Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Snipe.Run Labs ("Snipe.Run", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our website, dashboard, and related software (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

02 Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Wallet & account data: your public wallet address(es), wallet labels, and (if you use an embedded or email login) an email address.
  • Configuration: the traders you choose to copy, allocations, risk limits, alerts, and other strategy settings.
  • Communications: messages you send to support, and survey or feedback responses.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: pages and features used, clicks, session timing, and in-app events.
  • Device & connection data: IP address, approximate (country-level) location derived from IP, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and referring URLs.
  • Cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 5.

We do not collect, request, or store your private keys or seed phrase, and we never have custody of your assets.

03 On-Chain Data Is Public

Blockchains are public, immutable, and pseudonymous. Any transaction the Service helps you broadcast — including copied trades, positions, and payments — is recorded on a public ledger and is visible to anyone, permanently. We cannot alter, delete, or restrict access to on-chain data. Your wallet address may be linked to your activity by third parties. Consider this before transacting.

04 How We Use Information

  • To provide, operate, secure, and maintain the Service, including executing the strategies you configure;
  • To display your portfolio, performance, leaderboards, logs, and notifications;
  • To process subscription payments and prevent fraud and abuse;
  • To detect, investigate, and prevent security incidents and prohibited or unlawful activity, and to enforce our Terms;
  • To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests;
  • To communicate with you about updates, security, and (with your consent where required) marketing;
  • To analyze and improve the Service, including performance, latency, and reliability.

We rely on the legal bases of contractual necessity, legitimate interests (operating and securing the Service), consent (where required, e.g. certain cookies/marketing), and legal compliance.

05 Cookies & Analytics

We use strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in and secure, and, where permitted, functional and analytics cookies to understand usage and improve the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may impair functionality. We may use privacy-respecting analytics providers acting as our processors.

06 How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers / processors that host infrastructure, provide wallet connectivity, analytics, customer support, and fraud prevention, under contractual confidentiality obligations;
  • Blockchain networks and protocols, by the nature of broadcasting transactions you initiate;
  • Legal and safety disclosures when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Snipe.Run, our users, or the public;
  • Corporate transactions, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy;
  • With your consent or at your direction.

07 Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and the non-custodial nature of the Service means the security of your wallet and keys is your responsibility. We cannot guarantee absolute security and disclaim liability to the extent permitted by law.

08 Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described, to comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce agreements. Aggregated or de-identified data, and data recorded on public blockchains, may persist indefinitely and is outside our control.

09 Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to: access the personal data we hold; correct inaccurate data; delete data; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent. California residents have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising their rights, and we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

To exercise any right, contact us at privacy@snipe.run. We will verify and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. Note that we cannot delete information stored on public blockchains.

10 International Data Transfers

We operate globally and may process and store information in countries other than where you reside, which may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.

11 Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to, and may not be used by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will delete it.

12 Changes & Contact

We may update this Policy from time to time by posting a revised version with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be reasonably notified. Your continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
